Every man is actually a demon born with a set of loyalties to their tribe and will actively use any acquired position of power to further the interest of their tribe. Bring foreigners in, they don't mix up. Instead they form a ghetto (spics, indians, jews) and turn every single institution (private and public) into a turf for their tribe.

Universal suffrage led to war, curfews, unaffordable housing, hyperinflation and apocalyptic fiscal / monetary policy that led to death of the West.

We see people globally being arrested for crimes of opinion in the democratic West, while we disdain China (who are open about going after anyone who stands against their national objectives).

Bottom of the barrel cultureless scoundrel deteriorate art, architecture and any pursuit of greatness in the name of a cheaper product that sells more. State and cultural identities deteriorate over immigration. Goodness is not what sells, and in the end, nothing that sells looks even good.

Greatness, and not wealth, should be the final goal of humanity.

According to Rene Guenon, the crisis with modern western civilization is a spiritual problem. Basically, we're all so wrapped up in materialism and it's killing us. We need to reorient ourselves to become more spiritual rather than materialistic

Yes. Although I do not understand Guenon (I find him unreadable, more schizophrenia than philosophy), I can understand that his conclusion is not unique and is very much apparent to be stated by anyone not shackled by academia (like Guenon was).

Western civilization is founded upon the faustian bargain where we sell God in exchange of material wealth. This is a conclusion that Guenon, Adorno, Nietzsche, Spengler, Horkheimer, and many other thinkers arrived at through independent means, and is very much correct. Karl Marx himself rambled about the 'great achievement' of capitalism being greater than of the pyramids and the wall of China, since the great achievement of capitalism was at his time and still is now the universal deterioration of tradition in exchange of a means of production.

In the times that Guenon praises, man made war for the truth of the Universe, like in the Crusades and Jihad. Then, men fought for nation and for ideals of universal liberation, once again a religious cause — albeit, to bring forth heaven without God and without the afterlife. Modern enlightenment progressive liberal capitalist civilization has deteriorated into forcing millions to wage war for economic models.

The West must now turn inwards, not to the pursuit of material comfort (which has shackled and holds the man hostage), but towards the greatness and perfecting of man.
