I had a waste removal service I ran til covid started, saw the writing on the wall with the way it was going, me and my business partner split politically over itall and we sold the business. I sold my house and moved back with my aging parents, I pay em 1000 bucks a month. They are in their 80s and would need to be in a home now anyways, so it works out. Im in my early 30s. We renovated the house so they have their own wing with a kitchenette. Can't stay retired like this forever though, but I just needed a break. Im getting low enough on funds i'l have to figure out revenue soon enough, maybe 2 years max if I live at this same frugality.

Additional evidence that there is not and never has been a "labor shortage" or "skills shortage". They simply pulled all the copper wiring out of the walls with the past 50 years of neoliberalism and they're desperately slamming the immigrants button as hard as they can to maintain the illusion of "growth"
