It's really good black metal. As far as I'm concerned, he "made it" as far as fame goes. It's got a good dark core/goth/metal thing going on that also reminds me of Candlemass. Too bad he didn't stick around another few decades at least.

It was the alcohol. Tobacco and junk food take a long time to kill someone and he was still pretty young. The booze is what did him in. Maybe some bad genes contributed too.
