My parents were always good to me but they both kind of hate each other. My dad would always cheat on my mom and he would constantly lose jobs and burn bridges. My mom would constantly scream and bitch at my dad over the smallest things and wasted money nonstop. But despite all of this they never once seriously considered divorce. I have no idea how to bond with a woman. I've had family members make comments about how it's strange that I never ever talk about women. It's over.

My parents are both awesome. I work with them in the family business every day. They've been an incredible resource in my life and the lives if my wife and kids.

I know a lot of guys irl that had abusive parents and have become estranged from them, and it really fucks with them in visible ways because they can't/won't let go of the injustice. It's sad to see. I had a narcissist father who beat me, he was easy to hate. It took till my 30s to realize my mother was 100% complicit. I wish I would have gone no contact sooner, but I am glad I got away from that when I did.

We have this thing in the UK called child benefit, money basically for every kid. Ends at 16. When i turned 16 my mum went batshit crazy and nagged me out the house, did the same to the brother too, the moment he turned 16. No job, just out. Left my sisters alone though, at one point she kicked my 8 ( i think or might have been 10) year old sister out, and asked dad to pick her up, my dad said 'ok, i want the child benefit then' then she reconsidered.

She does things for me now as she feels probably guilty, so i let her, i'll probably pay a price for that as she will throw it in my face later, but for now she can be of use.
