get a usb drive small keyfob kind

burn freebsd 14.3 iso on there

move important files to usb external drive

install freebsd with a user named bob

learn basics of vi editor

in /home/bob/.xinitrc put the words exec icewm

su -
(enter root password)

pkg install xorg icewm firefox pcmanfm
yes

installs stuff

su - bob (switches back to user bob)

startx

desktop will open

in bottom left click the 3rd little icon with a : _

a command box pops up

in it, type firefox

firefox opens and works with youtube

install ublock origin extensions to block bad shit

rest is on freebsd.org
