Wages are only one part of the equation.
1. China subsidizes its industry.
2. There is a limit to how many indentured servants you can bring in before the voting population gets uppity, hence why Trump won.
3. The comparative advantage of illegal indentured servants is in agriculture, not factories or computers.
4. There has, in fact, been capital movement, factories moving to Mexico from China and US.
5. Mexico proper will always be cheaper than illegal labor.
