All of the Europeans in here don't understand how American insurance works AT ALL. And most of the Americans in here are just liberal faggots that don't want to work and think other people should pay for their unhealthy habits.
I've been ranting in this thread, but obviously I can't detail every little fucking thing about insurance in this thread. Nor do I feel like typing that much.
If an American goes bankrupt from medical bills, 99% of the time it's from them making multiple retarded decisions in a row.
If they have a job (literally even working at McDonald's or Walmart) they have medical insurance through their employer. The medical insurance almost ALWAYS has maximum out-of-pockets for full catastrophic injury. My medical insurance is $4k maximum out-of-pocket and will literally cover a $1 million injury if needed. It's $90/mo, my company covers the other $300/mo.
If someone went bankrupt, it means they didn't even have medical insurance, or the $4k maximum was higher than their entire networth, which probably means they don't even work full-time, or they're blowing all of their money on drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and driving a $600/mo car.
The American medical system isn't even that bad if you actually have a job. It only sucks if you choose to not buy insurance, choose to have unhealthy habits, or choose to self-insure through your own buisness when you make less than $60k/yr.
