The numbers game of economy is bullshit. GDP is a bullshit number...a global leaderboard for the financial class.
It means absolutely nothing in the face of unemployment, civil unrest, homelessness, and having to struggle just to survive.
What use is this measure of "big economy" and "rising GDP" if your middle class is shrinking, your infrastructure is crumbling, and crime is running rampant?
The wealth gap increase by pulling in both directions and much of that is due to wage suppression from companies being able to hire from a pool of foreigner labor who really aren't doing a good job at things anyway.
