Politically speaking, if your sister was raped, and the court allowed you to legally rape the sister of the rapist, would you do it? that's the way they handle these things in pakistan

that's called a "deterrent." the idea is that Pakis need help to understand why you shouldn't harm someone else. the law is telling them "hey, if you rape some girl we'll rape your sister" and that apparently gets through to Pakis in a way it doesn't in a more abstract sense. you only have to enforce such a law occasionally.

part of the cultural miscommunication here is the concept of rape. "rape" means having sex with her when they're not married. she is sullied. it is not necessarily how we view rape as in forcefully attacking someone sexually. most likely what happened is some guy banged a girl, defiling her and by extension her family, so they evened the score.

This has nothing to do with religion. Pakistan = racially Indians. Same for Bangladesh.

Religion is just a facade. That's their racial behavior. You can't tell apart Muslims from Hindus in the region. They horrifically abuse their women and go far beyond just having a man running the household regardless of what religion they follow. Could be Sihk, Hindu, Muslim, it doesn't matter, people are genes.
