I was riding with a neighbor who is a devout Christian the other day. They flipped their radio to the song "The Night Owls". I commented that I thought that the song's lyrics were off-putting. They're the kind of thing that a beta dog would play in a night club when they want to pick a fight with some nerd who is not protected by the alpha. It's a douchebag thing to make into a song for people looking to have fun.

The whole concept eluded him.

Christians tend to be very weak betas who want to be one of the cool kids by wielding the might of the Church. They miss that one thing that would transition them to "groking" the purpose of the Bible, a cynical book created to get a population to conform to the will of the state. It has nothing to do with miracles or heaven. It's just a fidget spinner that tries to hypnotize idiots to avoid creating problems. You can memorize the book and still be no closer to its meaning.

The Talmud is mostly a set of social rules that are completely obsolete and xenophobic, and can never stop being xenophobic. It's not a flippin' stage two supercharger for Christianity.
