Despite the name, China is not a communist country anymore, it's an authoritarian capitalist country with a fair amount of state influence, probably closer to a fascistic state but it is something different that what existed in 1930s Germany. There really aren't any communist nations at this point because it's a failed form of government despite some dumb ass Republicans in the US accusing x or y nation of being "communist".

When have "the people" ever owned anything under a communist regime? You just have some entity label themselves "the people's" something (usually a political party) and own/control everything and behave like a dictatorship.
