the left usually makes a big push at academia (young voters), which they have to do, and they're losing the ability to reach younger demographics because people are fatigued with the non-sense positions. Millennials are all over 30 now, and even older zoomers who vote blue because they were targeted for assimilation in college, are out of college now and the fatigue is there. They had to steer the left towards anti-israel narratives just to keep them from breaking containment and going to the right. that doesn't mean the left is ever going to post any anti-israel politicians for them. AIPAC has more pets on the DNC roster than they do the GOP.
Trump will support israel, because israel will dump money into the political warchest just to keep shit from getting out of hand (they have to at this point).
