Trump's term's been a circus, tariffs like confetti in the air,
Economy's a clown car, promising 17 trillion, like he cares!
Allies bolted faster than rats from a sinking barge,
NATO's a punchline, China's hypersonics? Large. Mass shootings? Weekly deals, like a grim Black Friday,
Epstein's files locked up tighter than a miser's payday.
Jobs? Lowest since the dinosaurs roamed free,
Tossing numbers bigger than his hair, oh the glee! So with that 17 trillion, I'll buy a island, call it "Chillville,"
Invite sanity for a beach party, with margaritas and a thrill.

It is a bubble though. That's not saying it's going to disappear, but the hype is off the charts and the current output does not match the input. 9 out 10 AI businesses fail, and right now the current value of the AI is market is driven by spending, not revenue or profit. In other words, buying over priced GPUs for training AI models. After they are trained the models have to justify the billions spent on huge data centers. So far they won't even come close for decades.

The best AI models so far are nothing more than advanced narrated search engines. essentially all they do is index the internet and give you summaries. Ironically, this has more potential to destroy search engine ad revenue than it does to create anything revolutionary. Even the hype surrounding new medications is overblown. AI can't do anything different than what traditional modeling already does.

Perhaps the best use for AI, in terms of any large scale economic impact, is simply automated data collection.

The internet has changed the world more than almost any technology in history (people now mostly just interact with screens, which is a first in all of history), yet the internet was also a bubble that exploded in 2001 due to insane levels of over-investment.

Stagflation today will be far worse than the stagflation of the 1970s that ushered in the neoliberal era of Thatcher and Reagan and led to the rejection of the old New Deal. Economies today are too fragile and complex to handle stagflation now. By 2030, 40% of Americans will be priced out of having cars. I hope local governments have giant plans for new bus systems.

Wrong
Tons of third worlders despise their political leaders.
Hating politicians is more of a luxury of having purported republics and democracies: representative governments. In old absolute monarchies, there was no politics, just the king and his advisors making all the decisions while society followed orders.

The tax burden is being shifted overwhelmingly to the working class, with these giant tax cuts for the top "earners" and tariffs that Trump gloats about to fund the government.
France, in the 1780s, had also exempted all clerics (First Estate) and nobles (Second Estate) from taxes, leaving only commoners (the Third Estate) with the tax burden of funding the government, while government debts had ballooned due to France's intervention in the war for America's independence.

AI and the internet were both bubbles. By 2000, there were hundreds of thousands of new tech startups in the US and the overwhelming majority of them failed. The hype was insane and led to many people losing their savings and never recovering.
Bubbles are bubbles, even if they produce some good things. Even the original tulip mania was productive in setting up how capitalism would go on to function (more properly).

Repeating the same stupid comment isn't going to make it less retarded.

The internet came into existence when people still used pagers and fucking satellite phones. Over 50% of internet startups lasted a year or longer.

AI is coming into existence when usage among actual humans is plateauing and the only new growth is in subhuman brownoid "nations". 70% AI businesses fail in less than 1 month and 90% by 1 year.

AI is a subset of the internet. It cannot ever exceed the internet itself in value. Right now all it does is condense internet searches in more easily digestible summaries. It's biggest social impact by far has been creating viral tweets from users coaxing it into denying the holohoax and praising Hitler and it gets lobotomized as a result. That's it. That's your AI. This is not a Paul Krugman moment underestimating the internet. AI has a ceiling, much much lower than the internet as a whole. And nothing is going to change that.

Now shut the fuck up.

Bubbles are bubbles. The internet was a bubble. I said, every time, that yes, bubbles often produce good things. But they are still bubbles.
Your mind is so retarded that it cannot make a simple distinction, i.e. between bubbles and productive results. Bubbles can be productive. There are productive bubbles. But they remain bubbles and the mentality behind investing in them is speculative frenzy. And, all the same, speculative frenzy can have productive results too.

Honestly i have more faith in the future of Uganda, then either of your shit holes. I can't wait for Ethiopia to dam up the Nile so your goat fucking cousins can die of starvation. Seriously the niggers in ethiopia are less barbaric embarassments to the world then egypt. Imagine getting bullied by niggers.

Russia posters you don't have to say anything, because ivan will be kidnapped and shipped to die in meat grinder ukraine.

The problem is that people speculating know that they can make risky decisions with our money and if they lose not face ANY consequences. When the internet bubble was a thing the federal reserve wasn't allowed to own land that they personally traded on the stock market as securities nor could wall street (the federal reserves primary dealers). You can't compare shit that happened pre 2008, 2010, 2014, etc after the rules changed, anon.
The next bubble burst is going to be peoples fucking cars being impounded because the bank that loaned them the money got bought out by some bigger bank that "isn't doing great".
>inb4 that cant happen because of laws
Kinda like the charter that the federal reserve banks signed stating they couldn't own land outside of operating requirements pre 2008 but now own and trade 27% of low income housing on the fucking stock market?

>You people have been wrong for three fucking years now
You know very little about bubbles if you think that's somehow not normal for a bubble to last several years. Dotcom lasted several years. Sub-prime real estate lasted at least five. There's all sorts of small scale bubbles as well like the streaming bubble that lasted for most of the 2010 and popped in the early 2020s. Tons of companies have merged since then.

A.I is a bag-holder for innovative investment and will be associated with divestment in a few years. Companies heavily invested into something that won't return WHILE they have been stifling human innovation in nearly every sector. The big investment firms will make trillions on the loss while we all wait for corporations to realize they have fucked up and get bought out.
People glazing a.i only use it for things to make themselves appear more competent. Its allowed retards to pretend to not be retarded. That's it. Eventually it will be usable but it's essentially a side-step currently.
>i can hire this smart person for 200k or this retard for 80k and give him some algos that appear professional and at least keep the needle above the red while I read short term profits
The result will be a net loss in innovative design and process as truly innovative people are looked over in favor of cheaper solutions to things that have already been done.
