This object is confirmed to have all the hallmarks of an interstellar poison arrow:
Cloud of CO2 half our sun's size, a dust cloud around 40-50km diameter, flying close enough to the sun.
This allows for easy creation of plasma, as CO2 normally can't ionize that easily unless it experiences a large surface area of solar-tier heat. When dust is inside plasma, it begins creating nano-structures of diamond and graphene (NIH article summer of 2023).
When it begins ionizing such a large cloud of CO2, it will begin interacting with our sun, increasing solar flare and plasma discharge activity. This directly means more intense and higher volume of earthquakes/tectonic activity the next few months. By the time it comes back out from behind the sun, the comet will have fully ionized into a giant plasma ball of death and disease. Not to mention the heavy nickel core can act as a battery to facilitate the plasma generation. We could suffer all the same issues that a worker protects against when using industrial grade plasma cutters/tools:

No, missed it. I wasn't aware of Apophis at that time. But I have high hopes of the April 2029 visitation, if real. Claimed by NASA (serpent hiss) to be due to come in between the Earth and the Moon under the geostationary satellite belt.

That should be close enough for it to really light up and knock out the space electronics through induced currents. But I don't think it will have much effect here and it is quite possible they got all their sums wrong or it explodes before it gets nearby or whatever. As it supposed to be near the Earth and Moon that makes it a three body problem so they have no idea what it will do. I am hoping it either becomes a moon of the Moon or becomes a second moon at a lower orbit whizzing past every day.
