The second hit was when Moot turned out to be a cuck, and in response to being ridiculed, he had the capcha and post cooldown removed. Although these were later restored, flooding the board with shit to make actual discourse and organizing or community-building proved excessively effective, so the fed moderators not moderating became the norm. The /r9k/ incels who flooded the board that time also never left.
Then, the "Mining the chans" study was made, which also concluded that flooding the board with fitting yet deliberately low-quality content is an effective way to shut it down, and that bots should be used. Looking at the board, where about 70% of the threads are obviously bot-made, spam it's safe to say that the powers that be followed the study's advice.
Then 2016 happened, and redditor and boomer conservashits flooded the board, adding their own filth of judeophilic, spineless, retardation.
Then Ukraine happened, and discord trannies, NAFO, r/noncredibledefense invaded the board en masse to shill for the most literal ZOG of all ZOGs, while /leftypol/ and other assorted communist and brownoid degenerates also came in numbers to support Russia for all the wrong reasons.
