One was genuinely sweet, cared about her kids, cared about me too, and had no intention of making me a stepdad, yet was a good friend all around.

Single mothers actually have the capability to love another human. When she is a smoking hot 18-25 year old she is constantly thinking about me,me,me. It's a big maybe though, many single mothers are actually smart enough to know they are approaching a wall and will try and lock a man down to avoid a life filled with poverty. The deciding factor would be my age(I'm 29 now if i was 40 i would probably be less judgmental when it comes to kids), if she was widowed/divorced, and if they were with eachother for 5-10 years i would see that as a good sign.
