Their society and corrupt culture is pretty much the same if not worse. But south Korea has developed many non-npc traits over the past years, even if it is the worst example of how not to do capitalism.
I am comparing them to coastal-city-chinese of course. If you take the average mongo that lives in that giant anthill of a country, koreans are better by an order of magnitude
