There have been like hundreds of instances of people being publicly shamed at sporting events for not giving balls and other memorabilia to kids waiting in the stands. I actually don't agree with this woman being shamed, she's old, was clearly going for the ball and this guy came from way over to snatch it. Yes I know the general rule of whoever catches it or snatches it up first is the proper owner, but this guy was no where close enough to have proper "claim" to going for the ball. If it was the kid himself going for the ball and she karen'd out on him then I'd call her an asshole, but it was a grown man who should have had more wherewithal and good manners. I'm glad she went and got her ball. People wait their entire lives to catch one. The kid will have more chances to get a game ball.
