Honestly this is just a wrong. Let's just say he was getting 2800 in food stamps which I highly fucking doubt. In my state if your jobless you get 296 roughly. How would them cutting 2800 bucks in food stamps lower his tax burden so much that it would surpass the 2800 a month he's getting? Also if you do get a job for 20 hours a week at minimum wage here you only get like 23 bucks in food stamps. Even after all these cuts they aren't lowering taxes there just rerouting the money to other things like deportation or military or there own pockets.

It's so bad here in the states, rent is like 1000 bucks a month for a 1 bed and that's considered a good price and the minimum wage is 15 an hour. Manual labor jobs here are so cucked your only getting 1-2 more bucks an hour sometimes even 50 cents more than the minimum wage, as a matter of fact fast food is making more than a lot of manual labor jobs here or warehouse jobs. So let's say you are taking home roughly 1800 a month working full time at minimum wage or a little more after taxes the rent is a 1000 plus electricity which is like 120. Plus internet (60) car insurance (100) and say your car is paid off. plus food (300) for phone bill(40) that's 1620 bucks. Your telling me all I can actually save a month is 180 dollars and that's being extremely modest where I live and my towns only 170k people. Tf is this bullshit.

there's cheaper apartments but they tend to be farther out or super ghetto but the price even with a piece of shit apartment is like 650 for a studio. And maybe 850 for a somewhat decent studio. And a newer studio is like 1200. Minimum wage is a wage your practically surviving on here. Shit even Facebook marketplace rooms for rent are like 750. A room you share a kitchen or even a bathroom with someone else is 750 bucks a month.
