Japan’s prime minister, Shigeru Ishiba, has announced his resignation.
As Japan's right-wing splits and disintegrates, t's almost certain the next prime minister will be from the liberal opposition.
Their main proposals are gender neutral uniforms and schools, getting closer to China, giving equal rights to same sex couples (including adoption), banning the sexualization of underage characters in literature and visual media and increasing the pace of immigration.
