Computers are screwing with our minds. They make us forget how to spell words, zap our attention spans and gets us addicted to the nonstop dopamine hits of mindless entertainment. But what can we do about it? It's not like we can stop using the internet and books will probably retain their difficulty for quite awhile. I got a bunch of board games so I want to do stuff like calculate Poker math or Dice probabilities followed by writing programs with elementary AI's.

agreed. no screens for kids, simple as. mine get a nature doc once a week during the winter and maybe an old thomas the tank engine show every few weeks in the summer. no tablets, no computers or tv or anything.
kids have too much energy as it is anyway. they dont need anything to make them go more frantic.
