Majority of them have no true physical use for their pickup beds as the majority of the ones on the road are empty. So what's the deal with these guys putting up with spending so much on gas but not having any true reason to own one of these?

I need a lifted truck to compensate for driving a 2017 focus every day.
It serves no other purpose than driving me to and from a ladies house, to and from the gun range, and to or from my hometown when I want to spend the extra 30$ on gas to flex on people who look down on me.

It's basically a status symbol and way to flax on normies that yes, I have disposable income. Women think your a fucking loser if you drive a focus, regardless of your trade or money in the bank.

Recently bought a truck like this with 40k miles for 21k out the door. It was originally 23k but I was able to talk them down because no one wants a basic truck without all the gizmos. It still has crank down windows and a key to open the door and start the truck. I like it. Only real downside is no 4WD but adding that instantly made the same truck 30k+. My friend recently bought a new f150 that was the middle model and he spent 64k with the warranty and everything. I don’t get how they can afford it or even want to spend that much on a depreciating asset
