I don't think Epstein destroyed Trump's presidency, I think Trump's administration did that for him. They could have just shut up about it and let Jizzlane rot away in prison, but they decided to make "release the Epstein files" a massive talking point during the election, one of the few talking points of the Trump admin that pretty much everyone actually agreed upon on either side of the aisle. And then they proceeded to just make up story after story about why they couldn't do it, or why they knew Trump was innocent.
