Okay Anon, how does your denomination feel about your unfiltered political opinions and theology? How would your own pastor feel or the majority of your church - Hell, how about the people who actually run it, the important people who keep the lights on and the water running?

It noticeably went wrong before, during, and after WW2. The final nail in the coffin took place in the 1960s/70s when Christianity was repackaged into a peace, love, be accepting of everyone religion which was spearheaded by the WW2 generation because good times create weakness and the Boomers loved it because it made them feel good. Most "Christians" aren't even Christians by Biblical standards. Most people are not aware that Christians are not Christians just because they say so or identify as one. It isn't hard to understand. There's a dissonance between people that call themselves Christians and those that actually embrace the values in that image which Christ espoused. For example, you have all these Mega church preachers who make bank doing what they do. Yet Christ taught poverty is a virtue, and these preachers are rich as fuck with private jets and mansions. That's the opposite of what Christ taught. So if they're wrong on that which you can see at a glance, imagine how wrong they are on everything else. Probably a lot of it.

Not true. Jesus was approached by a young man who wanted Jesus blessing but Jesus told him to be his follower and one thing was missing. The reason Jesus told him to sell all his possessions was answered in:

The problem was that the young man was being held back by having too much in possessions. That prevented him from following Jesus. Jesus had no problem with people being wealthy. We know this also because of Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a teacher of Israel, a ruler of the Jews (that is, a member of the Sanhedrin) who is mentioned only in John’s Gospel.(Joh 2:23; 3:1-21.) Jesus never told HIM to leave his wealth and distribute it. His problem was that he refused to leave his position and social status in life. He's the guy who paid all the expenses for Jesus burial and bought the expensive tomb to put him in. So obviously, wealth wasn't the problem itself. It's the LOVE of money that is the problem. The young man LOVED his wealth more than Jesus. Nichodemus valued his POSITION more than Jesus.

We also know God has no problem with rich people because Paul gave sound advice for the rich to protect themselves with. He never demanded them to give up their hard earned wealth.

He never said how much to give and he never said give away all his wealth.
That passage is more about possessions/status than wealth and I think you correctly recognized that.
He could have kept his wealth as semi liquid in the form of loans or whatever they did back then. It's very useful to have saved up wealth for missionary work etc.
