> ISIS once attacked Israel by mistake, but as soon as they found out, they apologized profusely to Israel for their error. Israel forgave them and even gave their men medical treatment a few months later. That's how kind Israeli jews are.
This isn’t true. I am far from being pro-Israel, but this is half falsehood and half misinterpretation of what the news is.
To begin with, no, ISIS did not apologize to Israel. If you don’t trust Jews do begin with, then you should read the story and see that this was the sole claim of one Israeli commander who said ISIS apologized out of fear of provoking Israel (obviously trying to sound tough) and not a single independent media organization could ever corroborate this claim, and ISISI never released a statement addressing any engagement with Israel whatsoever.
Secondly, Israel has a policy of treating their enemies and anyone who they think may provide them with a propaganda boost. The truth is that they opened treatment up for Syrians and Syrian rebels who got injured in the fighting, and there were many rebel groups that were linked with ISIS, sometimes knowingly, sometimes unknowingly, sometimes not even directly, sometimes had members who formerly served in a separate militia that had ties to ISIS before leaving, and the new group that recruited them had no idea. I think people forget just how mixed dup the factions were. If it were a straight-up flag-bearing ISIS member they would have treated him and then imprisoned him for the propaganda value on account of how universally hated ISIS was.
Israel and many others have a history of treating even the worst of the worst of their enemies for propaganda value. If some shady group or corrupt government fights ISIS, it already earns them brownie points, treating them shows just how “humanitarian” they are and can distract from previous crimes that stained a regime’s reputation.
