Subway is the cheapest restaurant to franchise because it doesn't require a kitchen. Everything is microwaved, and the "bread" is baked in special compact ovens. It's a great way to make money by providing food that's at least edible for a reasonable price, but of course jeets aren't satisfied with that. They need to squeeze every last drop of profit they can out of every sandwich, plus they have zero food safety standards.

Just saw another kebab place opened around the corner from where I live. A meal there costs 60 PLN, so around $15 which is crazy. If you go to a proper restaraunt, expect to pay around $50 per person. Fancy restaraunts are even more expensive of course. Went to a budget Korean BBQ with a girl about a week ago and left there 500 PLN ($135) for just some meat and two soft drinks

Going off of memory but Subway corporate stopped giving a fuck a long time ago so let anyone franchise anywhere (want to open a subway next door to another one go for it). Yup next the indians being minorities get preferential treatment for business loans and then open up a subway/gas station they can still run it at a profit because everyone there is a relative and they aren't really paying them. The part I don't remember about this is why they needed to sell the business off to a relative (who also got a loan that you "qualified" for) and they just keep it going and keep on importing more family members.
