Gaza is like the marginot line. There are tunnels and bunkers everywhere. Israeli soldiers don't want to go in there because it is certain death.
So right now they are mustering a gigantic drone army in an attempt to reduce casualties.

That isn't how international war time laws work. If you take over and occupy a nation then you have to feed and clothe and care for the people of that nation. If you can't do that then they were better off not being conquered. Every person that dies in Gaza is a crime committed by the occupying force which is Israel. (According to International Humanitarian Law)

So if we want to just throw away Geneva conventions, Hague conventions, and Rome statute of the International Criminal Court we just have to continue allowing Israel to get away with it.

Barely. Hidden snipers here and there and IDF responses by leveling entire block with families inside. Jews use hunger as a weapon to force palestinian civilians towards Egyptian border and to force any hamas fighter out of the caves.
