Recently I was at a conference where a representative of Ukraine spoke to a room full of churkas like me from former soviet republics.

Basically the entire speech of this khokhol and a couple of other people from their embassy was something like "we are defending europe", "we are defending the free world", "we are dying for them", "we white people are defending ourselves from non-white barbarians from the East" that is, the usual propaganda cliche that can be heard from any representative of the West.

And in the end, the old man who was sitting to my right dropped the phrase "he's an idiot" and "we lived in the same country with them and were one people some 30-35 years ago".

My question is, are the khokhols really that stupid and dont understand that they will never be in NATO or the EU?
Why are they dying in tens of thousands for some promises that will never be fulfilled?

The promise of wealth and sophistication, to be of a higher class, is what sells this kind of thinking. People want to be like the rich, fancy people so they adopt whatever ideas those people have. Ukrainians don't have real opinions about Russians or politics or anything like that. They want to be Europeans (tm) and will behave in whatever manner they believe is useful to achieve that.

Zelensky was elected because he was meant to get along with the Russians and bring some normality to relations. Most people weren't in favor of this war nor being some NATO proxy for them to hide behind.

When the war was declared, the borders were shut, martial law was imposed, opposition parties were banned, the media became war propaganda talking about their great victories, conscription was introduced and so on. Most people who are doing the fighting were given no choice but to go along or be forced to go along by the recruitment goons who abduct people.

They are. Their media has convinced them that they are fighting 'on behalf of europe and the west' and that once this is over they will be seen as the saviors of Europe with billions of dollars of investment like Europe got after WW2.

Most of the people who are in the military are kept in place through blocking detachments, forced conscription or open lies about the success on the battlefield (we're winning, etc). The only willing volunteers are in Azov or the other paramilitaries who never fight and do the 'motivation'.

It's a sad story and I feel sorry for the average Ukrainian, but you aren't going to see people like that posting here.

They could just claim they are from Zakarphatia or whatever they call that part of the country (that was Hungary) and they could become EU citizens.
They would jzst have to become Hungatian citizens at least temporarely.

The brainwashing has been going on for 8 years at least, ever since the color revolution in 2014.

Ukraine was the only European country where fascist organizations (always led by jews) were allowed to exist. Paganism was pushed to replaced Orthodox Christianity. Militarization was pushed along with fascism. They had military summer camps for kids. EU kikes have been planning this for a long time.

That being said, everyone here saw how normies behaved during the rona. It's far easier to send the cattle to die than previously thought. It scares me how easy it is. Normies would drag you and and me to the frontlines to die for Israel because a government sponsored tiktok video told them to.
