When I was 14 I took a greyhound to my grandma's house a couple hours away and it broke down. I watched a guy snort coke on the side of the highway while we waited. So in reality there's no discernable difference between a greyhound and a public bus, except of course that greyhounds have better ticket security and you can't just jump a turnstile to board one. So if you're willing to ride with crackheads who are at the very least sane enough not to chimp out and stab you to death over nothing then greyhounds are great. All the non functional druggies are too poor to ride greyhound
