It used to make sense to make fun of adults living with their parents. But in this economy, it is the norm. People who mock people for living with their parents nowadays are out-of-touch rich retards or actual children.

I am 33 and live with my parents (dad and sister), i honestly ignore the goy cattle that think they have a fuller life than me just because they rent a house. In fact most of them look miserable and are pussy-whipped by their gfs/wives, while I enjoy my life, save money, not having to deal with cooking, buying groceries, (my dad is getting a good pension and don't want me to pay) and other soul-draining normie activities. Funny thing is I do have a house I bought with my savings in an auction, but I rent it to a chinese family and maybe i'll go live there if I find a woman who is not a whore.

I'm in a similar situation, 33 y/o living with Dad and sister. I inherited a valuable property in the city and rather than live there myself, I just rent it out to students and pay for maintenance/bills where I live. I do the physical things my Dad is no longer capable of and contribute my fair share financially. The students think I'm the coolest landlord ever because I actually fix stuff, only own this one property right next to the subway, and drink with them sometimes.

I've been on two dates while living in this situation and both times women dismissed me outright. It sucks but I hope I'll eventually meet someone with financial sense.

I'm 37 and finally moved out into a nice luxury condo until I can find a house to buy. I've got about $300k in assets and a good job. I just lived with them to allow my investments to grow to a point where I am financially secure. I've got a large portion of it dedicated to an income oriented portfolio to help pay any monthly expenses.
At one point I was living with an exgf for nearly a year but other than that my entire life has been with my parents.
If you're going to live at home, work your ass off to actually make some money because those are the best years of your life to do so. If you're wasting it then you're gonna be fucked up by the time you actually do decide to move out.
A lot of my friends are still living at home with parents btw. Being shamed for this is stupid.

Yeah, same, my dad just cooks and goes to the supermarket really, me and my sister do the rest. I am lucky this family i rent to never asks me anything, and pays regularly, the only thing i had to make sure is that they don't fry food indoors, i made a set up for frying on the balcony so they do it there. Don't lose hope anyway, living according to your own terms actually works as a filter that makes you avoid parasitic and predatory women.

I am making nearly 140k a year now through my job + dividends from investments, all because of living with my parents which allowed me to grow my investments. I still partied with my friends every weekend and had a great social life.
I don't regret anything. I saw the squalor some of my friends lived through when they moved out in their 20s. Living in shitty roach infested downtown apartments with 5 other guys. Fast forward to today, they're broke and back to living with their parents.

I miss my mom. She died when I was 24. Ever since, ive bounced around. Not really the (((travel))) meme, just worked in a bunch of different places and saw the world. Ended up back home with my dad a month before covid hit and havent left. Since then, I got my life together and have actual assets instead of trinkets. Its not fashionable, but land gold and low cost of living is better than the situations most of my friends are in.

Imagine how much worse it'll be once AI starts mass job replacement and there is no welfare/UBI system in place yet for 50%+ of the population that is now unemployed. If you have a substantial nest egg you'll be able to coast through that period of strife while others are on the verge of starving. Your 20s and 30s are the best time to start pumping your investment portfolio. You will need as much of a head start as possible.
And whether you're looking to buy a house with a mortgage or rent a place, you will need proof of income or substantial reserves to show that can afford to live there. I'm not sure if many of you are aware, but landlords typically require 3x the rent in your monthly gross income just to qualify as an applicant. So if you're looking at an apartment that is 2k a month, you need to be making 6k a month in gross income. Otherwise you're gonna be sharing a shithole with several roommates.

I'm 27 and I'm living with my mom. We recently bought several houses that we renovated together, we are essentially retired with small luxuries. Picrel very accurate as being retired as this young age really puts new challenges into perspective like what do you do with all this free time as you become master of your self ownership. Right now we are trying to get a surplus so I can pretty much move into an excess house on my own then still be able to sustain both household's retirement.

Downside is women don't understand this and think I'm some loser who still sucking his mommy's tiddies. used to be able to buy a home and raise a family on a single blue collar income. thats what they stole from us.

I am a mid 50s parent of 4.

After college, my oldest was able to get a pretty good job and was able to afford to move out and they're pretty much on their own.

My 2d oldest is 22 and works full time as a tradie at a pretty decent tradie job. He works very hard. He lives at home, rent free, pays his own car, contributes voluntarily to groceries and voluntarily does chores around the family home. He is saving a lot of money and wants to buy his own place, once he has at least 20% saved up, which he should have in another year or so. I am thrilled to have him still living with us, being financially responsible and living with his family.

Our younger two kids are still in college and HS.

Wife and I are proud and happy to have all my kids living at home, and they are ALL welcome to live in the family home as long as possible. Its our parental duty to help them out, and as long as everyone is behaving sanely, soberly and maturely, I think its better for all of us. Anybody who says t throw the kids out or to pay rent (mortgage is shitty enough) can fuck off.

I could have moved in with my (now ex) girlfriend to her shitty urban apartment with no AC. Instead, I valued family and multigenerational living. Now I love on a beautiful homestead thanks to my dad's good work ethic. I help with farm chores etc. I'm living the dream, except I have no real Fiat income.

When my mother in law moved in to watch the kids we didn't ask for anything but she would buy the groceries or treat us to dinner etc. hell, every now and then she would pay for a box of beer and we would play cards all night. She'd drink 2 beer and just be hammered lol. I miss that old bat.
