ya trades are a fucking meme, I was a heavy highway carpenter for 6 years, bridges, box culverts, retaining walls, that sort of thing
was constantly hovered over by 5 "supervisors" while 4 people did actual work, pay was shit, exhausting body breaking labor, hot/cold work enviroment, zero health care typically outside of a union job, zero compensation for inclimate weather days, work locations all over the state, sometimes up to an hour away with no travel compensation
Not to mention you're surrounded by assholes all day

Boomers will do anything other than acknowledge that young men are screwed
