This is absolutely correct and unfortunately a symptom of a much broader problem. Social media has created an entire generation of people who accept political violence. Spend 5 minutes on Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and you will find droves of these folks advocating for political violence. The culture is decaying and unfortunately I predict more and more of these types of political attacks as long as social media continues to radicalize the masses.
