In this series of images you can see Charlie before and after he's hit with the bullet. The first image is important for noting where his 5'oclock shadow is in relation to the collar of his shirt. The second picture shows his shirt flailing upwards, with what I believe to be a bullet coming from below. In this second image there also appears to be fibers jutting from the top of his shirt. If the bullet entered about an inch and a half below where these fibers appear at the top of the shirt collar, wouldn't that indicated an upward trajectory? The final image shows the bullets entrance is much higher than where the shirt was pierced by the bullet and where it was sitting in relation to Charlies 5'oclock shadow.

The shooter fired a high powered rifle from the highest corner of the UVU building 400 feet away from Kirk. The bullet entered his neck, hitting his cartoid artery, then hit his lower skull which absorbed the majority of the kinetic energy before it busted out scattering bits of skull and brain. Hence why there wasn't major bleeding from the exit wound, on top of the fountain up front. The bullet was slowed enough that it probably skipped across the unoccupied open space behind Kirk beyond the windowed hallway building, harmless tumbling away from the crowd so a surgical hit doesn't turn into a total mass cal from a stray tagging some collateral damage before it exits the stage. Shooter is up and on the move instantly traveling along the roof of the catwalk going to the building North to minimize chance that he's intercepted and apprehended by any angry citizens or first responders- on top of being relatively away from peoples' visual focus in front of them, dashing high enough he's almost out of sight from most on the ground. He definitely doesn't go right from the north building because it's campus police hq and all alleyways between the annex complex- so wall and rear door cams. He definitely doesn't go left into the highway. He probably didn't go straight into fucking dormitories. He very likely dropped into the conventient undeveloped wooded area between him and the only long curve on the highway- to then get picked up on the curve minimizing line of sight that a straight road provides. It's like a half a mile to the interstate, and 35 mins to the airport.
