The bullet pierced his shirt for sure. And there is a force pulling the shirt collar up above his chin in an instant, it moves that much in a single frame.
Why is his entire shirt pulled upwards <30ms if the bullet exited through his neck? I very much doubt the fabric can snap back that rapidly from being pulled down. I agree with most of what you said. It was likely a .300 blackout subsonic with a 208 grain 7.62 boat tail hollow point bullet. The hydrostatic shock and temporary wound cavity is inconsistent with supersonic rifle cartridge from 125m. It looks like similar wound characteristics to ones I’ve seen from 45acp. I think that’s why people keep saying it sounded like a handgun. That round is basically the rifle equivalent of .45acp. It’s also consistent with someone who wants a small weapon they can easily leave the scene with and fight their way to their getaway with. Something like a rattler that can fold up and be shoved in a backpack quickly. I mean these are all gross speculations, but that is how a professional assassin would do it. As far as the impact location if it was a subsonic round those are much more susceptible to wind and he may have used his 100 yard zero and aimed for the scalp. It was about 140 yards, which explains a 6-8 inch drop in a subsonic load by the time it made impact. I don’t necessarily think the angle or height which it was shot from had much of anything to with the impact. I just think he probably didn’t know the exact distance to the target and held on a standard 100 yard bdc or even a red dot with a 50 yard zero aiming for the chest instead. Who knows.

It was definitely some kind of .30 cal. I also lean toward a 308, but im not sure if a hunting load would have left such a neat wound. A 30-06 soft tip would probably lean more towards a total decapitation than a clean in and out. Again we don't really know what the back side of his neck looks like so we will have to wait until or if/when those images come out. Either way I think the entry wound is way too big for a 5.56. Even 556 soft tip rounds tend to dump their energy more by fragmenting than mushrooming. So in the case of a 556 the entry wound would appear smaller with the fragmenting happening in the wound cavity.
