I think he will try not to be depressed, but if I were him, I would be wracked with dread and feel like I am next. He is probably going to notice the suspicious timing with 9/11, Qatar and Kirks softening support for Israel, but I dont think he will risk mainstream credibility by laying it out immediately; he will want to keep it somewhat vanilla to attract new viewers. I think he will dispel ideas of him filling the power vacuum, as that thinking isnt very well thought out and too on the nose anyways.

So there will be a bit of grandstanding, but it should be pretty tasteful. I also think he is going to, at least momentarily, bury the hatchet on a lot of grudges with Kirk he had, since its impossible for him not to relate to Kirk now, especially as a Christian white American on the wrong end of political violence.

He is undoubtedly also aware that the shooter could have been a groyper, and will have to address that suspicion, if indirectly, and double down on denouncing political violence.

Its going to be a tough show for him. He has to somehow credibly address the issue of political violence in a way that connects and doesnt seem cowardly while also insisting that followers do not take matters into their own hands during a period of very pitched passions.

He will talk again about the lack of spirituality in this country that leads to horrific violence of this kind. He will issue a pacifistic message and urge both sides of the political aisle to lay down their arms and unite as brothers in Christ.
It will not be a bombastic show, he will not explode with rage, he will not come up with any conspiracy theories for the killing. Nick is mature, intelligent and respectful enough not to do that shit.

It does not appear professional. For Mossad to cultivate a shooter would have taken a lot of time, and though Kirks support for Israel was softening, he was already a developed asset.

Second, they would have no motivation to make it such a public spectacle if it was simply to get rid of him. The only reason they would execute it this way is if they wanted to make it a public spectacle to send a message or if time was a factor.

If its a message, then the message is muddled. And there is no reason to think Kirk presented any sort of exigent reason to be taken out in haste.

This is not to say that it could not have been a Sayanin radical lone wolf. But it doesn't seem to fit a logical explanation for a top-down directed hit.
