The Bible only makes sense when viewed from a Gnostic lense. The "god" of the Old Testament is a demon. Follow the true teachings of Jesus and escape this hell. Look up the Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of Judas and The Secret Book of John. They are as old as the canonical gospels and were seen as valid by a lot of early Christians.
