Pre-2016? I played MGS2 when I was a kid and believed everything they said about politics being fake and staged and never bothered to critically examine it later in life to decide whether or not it was true.

Every opinion, every decision, every policy is run down by us at the lowest common denominator, appealing to instincts and raw feelings. And the one who screams the hardest wins.
