After a while, you do get weird and there is a standing rule to leave homies alone for at least a few weeks if they are coming out of a long hole time.
Having no direct sunlight also fucks you up. Some holes have a window but the glass is thick and cloudy.
I spent 4 months in isolation and it wasn’t so bad once I got a bible, which they slow rolled for two weeks.
But people were really annoying for awhile when I went back to gen pop.

This is correct. There are layers of security classifications. You have to be really, really, really and within the federal system to end up at ADX. Or be notorious enough that you can't be housed in the general population because they will off you (Mohammad Atta).
