My guess (and its only a guess and only about this specific example) is that these AI slop 'writers' crank out a few new books every day in automated fashion. So on Tuesday they register 'wednesday book of the day' with amazon.com, it takes 12-24 hours to get listed, and they change the title and content to whatever happens to be the trending news that day using AI to do all the work.
The reason I think this is there are so many articles about Amazon review scams where sellers put up a respectable-looking product, get some good reviews, and then substitute it with something else. Amazon's seller marketplace is a scammers paradise, the book market is no exception since you put out virtually any slop at virtually zero cost. Amazon won't remove it unless they get a copyright claim from another publisher.
