He was either hight and to the right or low and to right. A hit from a 30-06 from 150 yrs is Lethal pretty much anywhere north of the stomach. The concept of aiming center mass aiming was kind of proven by this shot, if you aim center mass, even if you’re off a little you can still get a kill shot due to how many vital organs/systems are clustered in that area.
