Idk why people are all running with this quote like it's the ultimate gotcha. Tons of people believe this, it isn't radical. Everyone who is pro gun recognizes this, that's why they want guns to protect themselves from it. Because a crazy person who wants to kill will still get a weapon, so a citizen might as well have one too to level the playing field.

Its kind of dumb for multiple reasons
>anyone quoting it reveals they stand for nothing, that in their final moments, they would advocate for the founding fundamental principles of their society to save themselves. That even in life, they would advocate for safety over liberty. Charlie believed the 2nd Amendment primarily existed as a counter-balance to tyranny.
