The damage is done. I will never trust the system again after seeing the double standards imposed on anti-lockdown vs BLM protests (and also Jan6), the way right wing young men were demonised (FBI saying the right wing extremism is the greatest threat to democracy) while the hateful rhetoric of the left was ignored even while the bodies piled up. I'm sure I'm not alone. The only thing that would restore my trust at this point is the bodies of all of the unseen bureaucrats hanging from lightpoles.
