Is it possible to track him via wifi/router access data logs? I don't know if it works like this not an expert but if he had a phone on him he has a mac address that can be tracked from point to point if logs are recorded. Modern commercial buildings of that nature are about two stories from rooftop to the ground or essentially 20 feet.
