Insurgencies require public support to work. That public support either comes willingly or through coercion. Whereas prior to the events of 2020-2025, the left had nearly complete support and controlled the narrative, they are now reduced to having the support of a deranged minority. Violent as they may be, they are still in the minority.
And in a country that has its citizens very well surveilled, this minority will ultimately be caught.

The violence will persist a bit longer, but it is no longer recognized as a legitimate struggle. With that legitimacy lost, our government can begin disseminating and designating peoples, groups, and institutions as terrorist organizations. And with that, comes arrests.

It was a clever plot to be sure, but it has failed. There will be conflict, but it can hardly be called a war.
I expect in the coming weeks, months, and years that news of extremists being arrested and getting ventilated in shootouts with police, will become more of a common occurrence.

We can put aside any silly notion of America falling into a civil war, but we should all duly be prepared to enter into a war with enemy nations. Because this attempt to destabilize our country has been perpetrated by several hostile nations.
