It is hard to say, I regularly am at a gun range but obviously nobody shoots at humans or other organic matter there since it is a Swiss one after all. Technically, 30-06 standard loading profile should be about 10% above the .308 which means it is very powerful but by highly powered rifle standards not that impressive.
