Sort of. An objective look at the history of what WLP broadly called "the resistance movement" shows that there were plenty of strong-willed people, competent people, and patient people. Note that I list all those qualities separately, as that was the problem. You had people looking to play the long game and build a revolutionary power base from the ground up, while others wanted literal "RACE WAR NOW" and unfortunately doomed not only themselves but those around them, because they got themselves locked up and/or killed, and anyone around them immediately got on the feds' radar.

The irony is that if they had just been a little less bloodthirsty, they could've done a lot more over the long-term back in an era where security cameras weren't fucking posted at every storefront and street corner. But they didn't, and we're all worse off for it now.
