Its actually late stage empire. Westerners were spoiled by success. The caesar period was sometime before 1950. That is when Europe made huge foreign conquests and was centralized. Now we are this race of degenerate spoiled sissy weaklings that is getting overrun by our "allies" the tough, savage violent barbarians that our political class sees as useful. I mean just look at Europe, ruled by women. That is basically the final stage of civilizational death. Then a foreign power will crush the weak dying old one and a new culture will rise in its place, as happened to Rome. Even the way that superficial aspects of our culture, like business suits or the English language, have spread around the world, even while we get wiped out at home.
