You have to be hit with the tech yourself to believe a word I would say. You've been quite literally programmed to regard anything I would tell you as nonsense. I will just give you a scenario. Say you start hearing what appears to be your upstairs neighbor whispering about you. The whispers seem to appear as if he is spying and conspiring against you and the whispers won't be directed at you but will usually be in conversational form with his roommate or girlfriend. You won't have a single notion that these are the "voices" associated with mental illness. These voices will not appear to come from inside your head but will be in a directional manner like coming from above you in the direction of your neighbors. The voices will be elaborate, scripted almost. These conspiring whispers might also seem to originate from family you live with, strangers on the street, or your coworkers. If something like this were to happen to you, refer to picrel, and do exactly what it says. If you don't, you're fucked.
