Bumper sticker Republican is the best deacription I've heard that explains why I dont give a shit about this dudes death.

All he really contributed was normalize being conservative at college (kind of) and becoming a martyr

If I were a republican in the US, I'd give a shit. Because what this man's death has shown is that a lot of people are okay with murdering people who disagree with them. And that creates a precedent to justify shooting back.

His murder has shown that so there's his real contribution.

If Nancy Pelosi was murdered Republicans would be having barbecues to celebrate.
Americans are just bloodthirsty.

If and if. Sounds like coping to me. Like justifying any kind of behavior and when that starts being the default go-to, anything can be justified. But so far, your Nancy isn't dead and nobody is dancing over her grave. Kirk is and people are selling merch mocking his murder which is a pretty fucked up thing to do.

I'm watching his debates right now and this guy wasn't hateful or anything that even resembles what some people pretend he was. He just wanted to talk to people and he was killed for it. So what kind of message does that send?
