I get what he was going for with his "be peaceful" stream, but it rings hollow. He stated that nothing good ever came from returning violence, but this is ignorant of history. The Viking raids on Christian churches only stopped with armed resistance. The Muslim invasions of Christian Europe were only resisted due to force of arms. Christianity only still exists because people were willing to take up arms to defend it. If you want to quote the bible:
